Honestly i even considered it as overrated until i listened to this outstanding 180g 45rpm 2lp edition.

However when compared to other dire straits albums this one clearly betrays its digital heritage on my very revealing system. The songs production and detail are excellent and mofi have done an excellent job with the source material to give vinyl that is crisp punchy and dynamic. Contrary to other dire straits recordings i didn t like the brothers in arms album very much in the past because of the mostly poor cd and lp pressings i listened to. This pressing is by far the best vinyl i purchased in a decade.
